Splatter

Hello, welcome back to my blog! This morning I ate something. It's nothing interesting but I just wanted to give you a quick splatter of my experience (see what I did there, splatter).  Anyways, you're going to have to guess what it is.  Crunch. I opened the metal case which it lay in. A whiff of a fresh but almost spicy air hit my nose. I picked up the small white circular object and placed it onto my tongue. I don't like the way it sits on my tongue dissolving so slowly, so I bite down on it. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. I exhale with my mouth to smell the fresh scent, but I realize that it wasn't even necessary. I feel the air in my mouth seep into the back of throat and into my nose without even opening my mouth once more. A Cold Burn It burns. It's a weird burn. A cold burn. Hello, welcome back to my blog! Today I wanted to splatter about something I've noticed. With November just around the corner, we're finally seeing cooler temps. But shouldn't we have seen them sooner? Sweater Weather Delayed? I remember last year my cross country practices were seemingly  intolerable. I would wake up each morning and force myself to go out and run in what seemed like freezing temperatures. Some of my teammates would wear sweaters and sweatpants on our runs. I remember being able to feel my fingers go numb and see my breath in the air. This year there wasn't one day that I felt cold during practice.  At school, there's so many people wearing hoodies and sweaters but the weather still reaches over 100 degrees on the daily. Perhaps that's because we're used to it getting cold during October, only this year it still hasn't happened. It seems as if each year, the cooler weather takes longer to reach.  Why? I analyzed these lyrics with the help of a freind and let's just say we got a little carried away.  With all the attention Taylor's recently been gaining due to her romance with Travis Kelce, I really thought it fitting to choose and analyze this song. The popularization of Women's sports is on the rise and in record breaking numbers. 2023 has been a year of great accomplishment for women across a plethora of sports but what does this mean? Well to begin, I would like to highlight some of the records hit this year in terms of audience in the realm of women's sports. On August 20th, 2023, The University of Nebraska played The University of Omaha in a volleyball game which packed the stadium, drawing a crowd of over 92,000 people. This game broke the record of the most attended women's sporting event in history.  Additionally, just a couple weeks before that on August 16th, 2023, the Australian National Soccer Team played England in the semi-final of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. The 2023 Cup, held in New Zealand and Australia, drew in a record audience for Australian sports with " a reach of 11.5 million " people during that game.   To pass time in class I often find myself opening Microsoft Edge, browsing the discover page, and mindlessly clicking on articles to read based on bold titles and images on the screen. Only recently in researching blogs in hopes to find inspiration for my own, have I realized that all of those articles I've spent the past couple of years reading in class are  blogs, or really blog posts.  It's interesting to see how much diverse information is being put out on the internet using blogs. Whether on sports, tech, cooking, politics, or even bad celerity hair days, I've found that I am able to enjoy all types of blogs. I'd never really thought about it before, but blogs are great. They are not only outlets for people to provide their perspective and insight on topics of their choice, but also hotspots for people to read more on niche topics they enjoy. Hello everyone! My name is Sofia Sandoval. I know by looking at my blog I might come off as emo but I'm not, I swear. Not that there's anything wrong with being emo. Anyways I'm here to introduce myself so I should probably do that. Like many of you currently taking this class, I'm in my junior year of high school. It's supposedly the hardest year of them all. Yay? So far though, I'm actually feeling pretty optimistic about this year. Going into week five feeling strong. We'll see how long that lasts. Ok, I'm going to sound like an absolute nerd for this but I don't care; something you should know about me is that I love math. Like actually if all my classes could be math, they would be.
